PRODUCT Specific Questions
Invitations -
What size are the invitations? Invites are all sized to 5″x7″, but can be changed to a different size with the “custom design option”
What is the best paper to print my Invitations on? #110 Bright White Cardstock in 8.5″ x 11″ size. You can print 2 up on a page to cut out and use the same pack of paper for most of the other printables in the shop!
Where do you suggest printing the invites? I usually suggest simply printing from home! You have a lot of creativity you can use this way. You can print and cut them a bit smaller than the 5″x7″ size and place them on scrap paper or colored cardstock to make them really pop! You can add glitter, ribbon, or even use scalloped edge scissors to cut them…making them truly personal! I also understand many of you are VERY busy and don’t want the hassle…so, if you prefer to have them printed, I recommend taking the file to a local printer. Many clients have reported being happy with Office Depot or Kinkos, and I love my locally owned print shop. You can also order online from either vistaprint’s glossy cardstock or mpix. If you want to go with one of these options, you will have to purchase the “custom invite” instead of the editable, so I can set up the sizing correctly, making sure the bleed is correct.
Do you offer printing on the invites? I do offer a Printing Package that can be added to any printable invite purchase. The package is for a set of 25 professionally printed invitations and white envelopes. You have the choice of a pearl finish invite, linen finish, or semi gloss. The printing is $45 plus $7.50 for the drop shipping as they ship directly to you.
If I order printed invites, how long will my order take to come in? From the time you approve your design, the order should reach you in 6-10 business days.
What if I want the editable file to add my own type, but I need a different color combination that the one shown? You would purchase the custom invitation and request the changes.
Circles -
What is the printable circle file used for? The most common uses of the printable circles are cupcake toppers, favor tags, and stickers, although they can be used for many different things if you use your creativity! We have seen them used to decorate rolled silverware, highchairs, place cards, and even added to invites for a layered effect.
How do you make printable circles? To make the circles using cardstock (for tags, cupcake toppers, etc.) print the circles on white cardstock and cut apart into strips. Then use your 2″ circle punch ( this punch is one of my favorites) to punch out each circle!! Be certain to turn the punch over and make certain the circle is aligned in the middle of the punch before punching it out!
For round stickers, the same file can be printed on full label paper (LIKE THIS or THIS) then you simply cut on the lines (or right inside them as needed depending on your circle punch) and punch out each sticker.
Do you offer printing and assembly on these or other designs you sell as printables? The only printing packages I offer are associated with the invitations (see above) or branding packages.
Water Bottle Labels -
Where do you purchase the paper you print your labels on? For the bottle labels, I recommend THESE labels from labelsbythesheet.com which I order and print from home (though they CAN be printed by LBTS and shipped to you).
Do you offer printing and assembly on these or other designs you sell as printables? The only printing packages I offer are associated with the invitations (see above) or branding packages.
Snack Cups-
How difficult and time consuming are these to make? The printable snack cups are very easy to make, even if you aren’t crafty! The most time consuming part of the project is cutting out each snack cup, as they are small and require you to cut in delicate shapes. Once cut, folding and assembly is quite simple!
Do you offer printing and assembly on these or other designs you sell as printables? The only printing packages I offer are associated with the invitations (see above) or branding packages.
Tent Cards / Labels-
What are these used for? Most commonly, the labels and tent cards are used on buffets and dessert tables to label each food and dessert! They also make perfect place cards for sit down events and are easy to use for both! You can purchase the file once and edit and save as many files as you need!

Overall Questions –
What is the difference in a Custom File and an Editable File?
A custom file means that I will prepare and finalize the design for you. I will change the color palette, change the fonts, and will add elements from other sets already for sale. The customization add on doesn’t mean you can request different graphics than the ones already designed in the sets. I create each graphic myself without clip art or any generic downloads, so the process is time consuming. Whether I can take a full custom design (ie create a new invite/set not in the shop) will depend on several factors and charges will be assessed accordingly. I would always love to hear custom thoughts and ideas, so please feel free to contact me anytime to inquire.
An editable file is one that appears as you see it in the shop photos. The colors, fonts, and size will be the same as shown. The editable invite will come in two files, each file having two invites on an 8.5″x11″ page. One editable file has the type boxes set up as shown in photos, with varing fonts, and specific placement for names, invite poem, time, date, etc. The other file will have one large text box that you can enter type into as you need. This is for unconventional type layouts, or using the file as a menu or sign instead of an invite!
How are the files delivered?
For the printable files, once you’ve made your purchase – you will receive your printable file (customized if necessary) within 3 business days (M-F), although we always like to beat our own time frame.
What paper do you recommend for printing?
In printing, we recommend standard bright white #110 cardstock for most designs, including snack cups, invites, circles, tent cards and more. For the bottle labels, I recommend THESE labels from labelsbythesheet.com which I order and print from home (though they CAN be printed by LBTS and shipped to you). For stickers, I prefer to use full label paper and a circle punch (same as the one for the circles).
What type of files are the printables?
All templates are high resolution PDF files and all are compatible with Adobe Reader or Acrobat. All Designs are vector based for the best possible appearance.
Do you send font files with the editable printable files?
Fonts can’t be shared due to copyright reasons. I am happy to share resources for fonts upon request and most are available for free downloads.
Can I change colors within the Editable Printable Design?
No, the editable files have editable text areas where the fonts, sizes, and colors of the type may be changed. The original design is not editable in any way.
My computer crashed, can I get replacement files?
If files are lost due to personal computer malfunction, files will be replaced with proof of purchase (your etsy receipt number).
Can I resell the designs if I buy the editable files to create for client events?
No. These designs are intended to be used by the one who purchases the files ONLY. They may NEVER be re-sold even as a finished design (IE printed and made into banners or signs) or advertised as your own creation. If any design is PERFECT for a party and you are the planner, you must advise the client to purchase the files and then you may use them to bring the clients needs to life. Any use other than that which is specified here is considered an infringement on the terms of use and is illegal.
